Established in 2003, in Kelowna, British Columbia, Kelowna Instruments has been the industry leader in automotive electronic control unit(ECU) repair. While we started out mostly focused on the growing demands of instrument cluster repairs, we found that the tooling and expertise we have developed over the years allowed us to easily branch into all sorts of automotive ECUs(electronic control modules).
Unlike many other electronics repair facilities that are applying generic repairs to automotive ECUs, or are treating auto parts like the home appliances they frequently service, Kelowna Instruments differs from the rest through our development and usage of emulation technologies that allow us to hook your modules up to an emulated version of a good working vehicle to replicate your exact issues in an isolated environment. This way we can be certain whether our repair services will fix the issues you're experiencing before you spend your money to find that your module isn't the cause of your issues. Once we've repaired your module this same emulation technology allows us to confirm that your issue is in fact resolved.
We're one of the only automotive electronics repair facilities in the world that not only utilizes diagnostic tools but we also take this a step further and we develop our own diagnostic tools. Our experience with the creation of such tools give us an unparalled level of understand of how modules work. Instead of simply using tools created by other companies that may or may not work or might not be tailored to the North American auto industry we're able to instead go deeper into how modules work, how modules are programmed and cloned and as well what it takes to repair your defective modules.
