This is a repair and return service for your existing module. You will need to remove the module from the vehicle and ship it to our facility for repair. The module you will receive back will be your original unit and will not require any sort of reprogramming to the vehicle as all of your original data will remain the same.

How are the modules repaired?

Our technicians first seek to replicate the issues you've described by utilizing our advanced diagnostic capabilities including OEM diagnostic tools and emulators for automotive networks such as CAN and CAN-FD that allow us to plug your module into an emulated version of a good working vehicle and effectively "drive" your module on our test bench. Once our technicians have confirmed that your problem is present in our test bench environment, they then set off to repair the issue.
While many repair facilities only repair the exact issue you're experiencing, Kelowna Instruments repairs not only your issue but we also apply our cumulative knowledge we've gained from every similar module that we've ever repaired to ensure that we're repairing all of the most common issues that modules like yours are known for. If your module is unable to be repaired our technicians will contact you regarding options for replacement. We're almost always able to source a replacement module and transfer your original data into the replacement to ensure we can get you back on the road.
