This is a module cloning service. You will need to provide us with the original module you are hoping to have cloned as well as your donor module. Your donor module should be of the same part number as your original module otherwise there is a high probability that we will not be able to clone your module successfully. Each module must be clearly labelled which is the original and which is the donor.

How are the modules cloned?
Individual modules will always require unique and different approaches to cloning, which leads to us having to utilize many different methods for cloning your modules. In ideal situations we're able to take full reads of the flash of your module's microcontroller as well as reads of your persistent data that can either be stored in a dataflash within your original module's microcontroller or an external memory device on your module's circuit board such as an EEPROM. We can then take that information and write it into your donor module, creating an identical clone of your original module as far as your vehicle can see. This method allows us to copy the information from your original module even if it is only partially working and in most cases we can even clone non-working modules.
In the case of many modern modules there are additional levels of security that prevent reading of your original module's flash or dataflash from it's microcontroller. In order to clone these modules we often find that we can't make an exact duplicate of your original but rather we instead focus on ensuring that we can get the information that OEM and even advanced aftermarket diagnostic tools are unable to program. This will leave you with a module that is able to be paired to your vehicle using an OEM diagnostic tool.
