This is a repair and return service for your existing module. You will need to remove the module from the vehicle and ship it to our facility for repair. The module you will receive back will be your original unit and will not require any sort of reprogramming to the vehicle as all of your original data will remain the same.

How are the modules repaired?
We understand that this question is ultimately is the most important of them all when it comes to finding a repair facility for your vehicle electronics. Our technicians first seek to replicate the issues you've described by utilizing our advanced diagnostic capabilities including OEM diagnostic tools and emulators for automotive networks such as CAN and CAN-FD that allow us to plug your module into an emulated version of a good working vehicle and effectively "drive" your module on our test bench. Once our technicians have confirmed that your problem is present in our test bench environment, they then set off to repair the issue.
While many repair facilities only repair the exact issue you're experiencing, Kelowna Instruments repairs not only your issue but we also apply our cumulative knowledge we've gained from every similar module that we've ever repaired to ensure that we're repairing all of the most common issues that modules like yours are known for. All components that commonly fail are replaced during our repair process. This way you don't find yourself needing to get your module repaired again any time soon.
